ONE MORE WIN

That’s the cheer that can be heard on the streets of Philly, and the surrounding area.

It’s amazing, and, just like their bid to the World Series, too good for words.  We’ve been waiting for so long, and FINALLY, it’s here….

The only thing standing in our way? Game 5.

But, while we may have one more game to play, I have complete confidence…and why is that?

Because we have Cole Hamels.  It’s Game 1 all over again…and we all know how that came out…with a win :)

You better believe that if we win it all tonight, I will be in the city tomorrow, watching the parade. In fact, I might even go tonight…we’ll see.

First, let’s go over Game 4….
It was awesome. We were so good, our pitcher even hit a home run, which was probably the best one I’ve ever seen.  Ryan Howard hit two long ones, and Jayson Werth added one in for good measure.  We stepped all over the Rays’ toes, but did it the good old-fashioned way: by showing we have talent.

Let’s hope that Game 5 is just as exciting, which, regardless, it’ll probably blow Games 1-4 out of the water!!!!

LET’S GO PHILS!!!

tonight’s(!!!!!), and the rest of the series, breakdown.

Tonight’s the night!!!!! I’ve been waiting all week for this series to start, and it’s finally here!!!!!
Even better? Home field advantage!!! Well, for the first two games, at least…if it goes to seven, then we’ll have 4 at home.

What does home field advantage mean, exactly? As good ol’ Uncle Charlie says…

“I think a home-field advantage becomes an advantage to us in two
ways. I think our fans, I think
it’s very noisy. I think our players, they like to play for our fans,
especially when all the energy is in the ballpark. I think that
definitely plays a part in it.  And the fact that we would have four games here, if it
happens to go to seven games. I think that definitely helps us. I think
you’re going to see two very balanced teams. And I don’t see no reason
why we can’t be the winners, though.”

The one element that everyone seems to agree on in this series, that will win it for that certain team, is pitching.  Pitching, when used correctly, is an extremely dangerous weapon.

The series matchups (through game 4):
Lowe v. Hamels
Billingsley v. Myers
Moyer v. Kuroda
Blanton v. TBD

Once the starters do their job, it’s up to the bullpen.

Both teams are hard, home-run hitters.  It’ll be a toughly fought battle to represent the NL in the World Series, and I cannot wait to watch it!!!!!

Don’t forget to watch, 8:22 on FOX….LET’S GO PHILS!!!! :)
